People at BP pump at baner are just looking for cheating you, but the fuel is good. If you are alert you can go for this pump.
Any feedback on the Kasat petrol pump ? ( The one opposite Mac D on karve road ) . I have no clear idea about the fuel quality. The staff is courteous though.

I have done re-fuelling a couple of times there but of less quantity. Seems no problem.
Dudes, when you mention that x bunk is good or you have had no problems with it, its a bit vague. I suggest that a bit more detail be mentioned.
Just mentioning that there were no problems is grossly insufficient. One cannot always judge the quality of the petrol that way.
I suggest that those who recommend any bunk do it only if they have at least checked the fuel efficiency properly, and preferably more than once, after filling up at that bunk.
IMO the following parameters need to be mentioned when declaring a bunk good/bad -
1) Fuel efficiency after filling up
2) Note any changes in engine behaviour after filling up. Bikes are gnerally better for this than cars.
3) Check tank for any dirt/debris after filling up. Obviiously this is possible only in bikes, scoots.
4) Any cheating attempts by staff
5) General level of service, sorrounding, management, etc.
For me at least, petrol quality is of paramount importance; because that is what can really screw up your engine. Service and other things are of secondary importance. And fuel efficiency and engine behavour is the only way we can do this... in the absence of any testing equipment. Of course, deviation in quantity will also be reflected...
Indian Oil pump in Nigdi near the Railway bridge is good.
I have heard the pump in Chinchwad is not so good - Adds Kerosene (Probably HP - first pump on left while going from nigdi to Pimpri on the old Pune Mumbai Highway. Situated on a Corner)
Adarsh Petrol Bunk near viman nagar opp to Kothari Wheel showroom is good.
I will recommend Kekan HP Petrol Pump at Tingrenagar, Airport Road for quality of fuel, but be aware of attendants, they will try to cheat you without adjusting zero or filling less petrol, usually they will ask you to take your bike / car to a distance from where you can't observe meter reading, else quality of fuel is good.
Bakare Petrol Pump : Located just after Krishna Hospital on Paud Road when you are going towards Chandani Chowk.
Fuel Quality : Average.
Instances of cheating : Not much/rare.
Recommended : Sure, for two wheelers , especially if you live in the vicinity. The space for cars is a bit tight though.

The attendants try to cheat you if you are not alert.
Few problems faced by myself :
1. Diesel availability is rare. I was lucky to get diesel 3 out of 10 times.
2. When the pump started it was a 24 hr one but never found it open early mornings even at 7.00am.

Had VERY bad experiences...the car was emitting lots of white smoke while warming up, the throttle response just dropped like crazy. Have completely stopped going there. Filled up 7-8 times, thinking there was a problem with car!
In Dapodi-Sanghvi-Aundh Road-University Area:
Worst Fuel Pumps
==============
1. Chajjed Petrol Pump (Just below Harris Bridge near the start of Bhau Patil Road)
2. BP Petrol Pump after crossing the Sanghvi Bridge near Spicer School.
3. Fuel pump right opposite E-Square University Road.
Good Fuel Pumps
=============
1. HP Kate Fuel Station Dapodi (Quite a rush here since people from Aundh road, Dapodi and Sanghvi get their thirsty vehicles over here)
2. HP Singh Fuel Station on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway right after Arun Talkies.

May I ask on what basis you are rating the fuel quality as average?

Well, I am comparing it to the Shell (non-premium) petrol I otherwise fill up in my bike, a Pulsar 150.
I can immediately see an improvement in the overall FE with Shell, while in this one, there is no perceptible drop or gain in performance or FE.
Due to the huge price difference between Shell and other companies though, I am going to stop filling shell in my vehicles for some time.
Hmmm ok. You could fill up from the RTO BPCL bunk, if feasible for you. I have found no difference between Shell and that bunk, whenever I'v checked the efficiency.
As far as overall reliability issue I wiil prefer the pump at F.C. road, Dynashwar Paduka chowk. I visit regularly ,for 25 + years , dont remember any bad experiance.
Owners are helping & honest.
