Actually, it has to be well maintained since its not an old car at all and is being manufactured since 1998!

The TD2000 is a modern day roadster made to look like a replica of the yesteryears. It is made by TD Cars, Malaysia and has a roaring 2000cc 130bhp engine. I have personally seen this car upclose and sat in it. Has a wonderful appeal for sure!

as far as i know, the bodywork is fibreglass, the owner is a prominent car dealer for a foriegn brand, and there was talk of importing these cars, this was the "test mule"but they were working out too expensive, for india, about 20-25 lakhs

i wish they kept the look a little more authentic with crossply tyres and regular seats....the whole fun of owning a classic car would be lost with this car...but i guess its great for posers

Bawa - Does it belong to the loud, foul mouthed Skoda dealer by any chance?

crossplys would not be safe as these cars have modern mechanicals and hence far more powerful than the originals. and replicas have their own fun. you can use them without fear of damaging high value old machines. you can drive them just that bit harder
hi ishan, are you in town?no its someone else. another car..like my yellow/black coupe...

Td2000

are you guys aware that a tiny wiper blade for TD2000 costs about Rs600? there's a really cool webpage at www.cardomain.com/ride/2634865...
