Thanks and nice to know vnabhi. The oldest Li 150 Series 2 (in India since around 1958-59) were fitted with the white-dialled and Italian made speedos, with INNOCENTI written below the rectangular odo space. These continued till around late 1967.

Thereafter, for a few months till around mid-1968, the white speedos (made in India, Yenkay (?)) trying to duplicate the Italian ones, but with poor finish were fitted to the Lambrettas.

Next came the black dialled, Yenkay speedos in mid-1968, that continued till the Lamby was introduced in 1978.

Lambys came with the silver-dialled Pricol speedos till the company was shut down in the mid 1980's.

Re: Lambretta Li 150: Gotta get you into my life!

Was checking and cleaning the fuel line of my Lambretta including opening and cleaning the carburettor today. The outlet from the petrol tank connecting to its fuel tap has been changed . The nut of this outlet fitting the fuel tank base tightens anti-clockwise like most other fuel tanks.

The rubber hose from air filter to carburettor was also replaced. The older aftermarket hose was of a poor quality as can be observed in the first image. It cracked up and destroyed itself on its own (suicide ??) after about five years post fitment. The earlier ones were not of such a shoddy quality and would last longer.
