The pre-war bikes with their newly evolved suspension mechanisms are a treat to see. One of my distant uncle's had a prewar Matchless in Allahabad when we were in school, and I remember how we loved hearing it roar to life on week-ends.

Yes, I went through your post a few months back regarding reclaiming the Bullet and it's a very inspiring story for any petrol head, especially a vintage afficiando. Cheers and see you soon
