My 68 Bug

A Big Hi !! to all u bug lovers ...I am posting a few pics of my 1968 bug .Its a 1300 cc car and I had picked it up about three years back from Coimbatore. It was in a bad shape both looks wise and mechanically.Took about about 8 months to almost an year to get back in shape.Got most of my spares from from the e bay and some of it from Singapore. The previous owner had given me a 1600 cc twin port engine ...which is now in the car.I opted to change it to 1600 just for better performance...it really moves now....I have rebuilt the old engine and kept it a spare. The interior needs more work like new carpets..orginal viny seat covers and new roof lining...Sadly the pics taken while resorations are missing...hope to fish it out soon...
Regards to all the airheads in the forum...
cheers:

Hot looking bug, and immaculate restoration peeve. This shade of yellow really suits the car. The 8 months would have been some experience, eh....now that we have seen the "after" pictures, how about sharing the "before" gallery too?
