Looks like a convertible version of Fiat 1100

that looks like a vw convertible. very nice looking car though.

am very lousy at identifying vintage cars so forgive me for my answer because it may be way off.

i think its either a MG or a Rover or a old Fiat convetible maybe ?
Mostly i think its a MG roadster.
please do tell :)
love these old beauties.. they just dont make them like they used to.
envy you bro..
:)

The Fiat 1500 Cabriolet. Probably a 1965 or 66 model.

and tons of pics..

Fiat 1500 cabrio

is this it ?

1965 fiat 1500 cabrio!

Sankar is right -- 1966 1500 Fiat Spider. This one has the 1500 (a Lampredi designed crossflow OHC ~80 bhp engine) replaced with a 1600 (or 1800 -- have not ID'd fully) Lampredi designed twin cam engine from an early 124 spider/coupe. The sound is just awesome.

ajmat -- yes, you'll see it tomorrow. :)

71Convertible, please put a youtube video of the car. From the description the engine must sound lovely!

Where did you find it ?

Is it by chance from Ooty, owned by a now deceased fast living planter

Congrats on your new acquisition Byas. Tell us more.

Also more pics please.

Just been given a personal tour of it. A real beauty and more important complete except for some light fittings etc. Below the hood - Karlos and Cyrus will go bonkers as the layout is ditto Fiat 1100 except for engine.

Instrucments are original except for a tacho which has replaced original clock

Engine note is like most italian cars, passionate, stirring. Will look forward to watching it develop.

Enough of this teaser, tell us more guys. Pics please:)

You lucky man Byas.
