Hey Guys,
I spotted a beautiful Morris Oxford today in town today. Was on a scooter but managed to take a few pics.

Btw, is that a taxicab Or is it just the paintjob?? Or is it due to the quality of the pic that it seems to be one?? |
True, I too felt the same way!
Anyways, I was expecting this to be the 60s Farina Oxford until I opened the thread....but its ok, 'long as its very much a classic! :)
Taxicab? Is that black or is that green? In any case, that is a very elegant posterior.
Cyrus what makes you say thats an Oxford rather than a Landmaster? The Morris badge on the boot is from a Morris Minor anyways, so it isnt original. I LOVE that colour scheme for the Landy though.

Exactly, because we saw an Amby in Goa with an Oxford badge as well. Does that make it an Oxford?

Looks to me like the Oxford is quite on the road, not on a scooter. See properly, all 4 wheels are on the road. What are you talking about? |
Sam is in the 'Rapidex English' mode :D
Nice car.

He has taken a leaf out of Kasli's book perhaps, like his Packard.:)
Karl - how good is the Pune Landmaster with the sticker of who's next on the posterior ?
Best regards,

Nothing special, it has a diesel engine, Amby dash, and essentially needs a ground up resto. You interested?:Shockked:

There were Morris Oxford badges On the Front Quater Panels and on the boot. So either he has got them from somewhere for his Landy or it is a proper Oxford. Your interpretation Karloose...

Hmm, the Morris Oxford script on the boot is certainly not original, it belongs to the Oxford 2 generations later. The boot Morris badge above the numberplate light if from a Minor or earlier gen Oxford. It appears to be trying too hard to be a genuine Oxford, its most probably a Landy. The only way to tell is to look under the bonnet.
Hey I thought that a Landy was a LandRover. Make up your mind you crazy car enthusiasts!
