A really lovely afternoon

Lunch at Koshy.
Lazy walk to car.
Struggle to put seat belt.
Ingnition on.
Engine purrs to life.
Indicator on.
Look at right rear view... A gold/burgundy flash next to me.

Ignition off.
Seat belt out.
Gold/burgundy is parking in front of me.
Meet Mr Jayram.
And his gold/burgundy baby. This is his one of the six old babies he has.

More later on Mr Jayram. I'm meeting him next week to know him more. To see his other beauties. And of course carrying my camera.

Don't start shouting about the picture quality. They're from my poor iPhone.

Those pictures are much better than a lot of us will manage with really expensive equipment.

Getting back to the car, I can see Karl wetting his pants in anticipation. Seriously - that car is inch-perfect. PAL wouldnt have made it as well as it looks now.

Indeed an outstanding specimen, though the colour scheme doesn't work for me. I think Pavan had earlier posted pics of this car as well. And as long as Im being critical, the headlights need to go, as do the Spyder imitation wheelcovers.

To Plagarize HP's 2001 tagline. A fool with a tool is still a fool and the old man with any camera is better that all of us and our cameras put together

Neat car there, looks picture perfect!
Long time since I've seen a dual tone 1100 (cant take the color combo and the bus'ish wheel covers)
Used too have a white top-green body color combination on the 1100 during the 80's.

Pics with an I phone? They're better then I'd do with a digi cam!! looking forward to your pics with a cam

There is not a single dent on the bumper and that's something to talk about. Chrome plating was done by Vijaylakhsmi (the most most famous chrome plating joint in Bangalore). By the way, paint is five years old now.

If he has then it'll be captured next week for sure.

Note: I have not masked the number plate because I've taken owner's permission.

@Rudra: What a beauty. You mentioned "Gold/ Burgundy Babies". Does that mean all his cars are Gold / Burgundy ?!? Would love to see the entire lot !
@Karlosdeville: What's wrong with the headlights ? (forgive me if I've asked a silly question O Guru )

Hey sorry, didn't mean to point out any mistake .
I actually imagined this guy to be some sort of tycoon who paints all his cars in the same colour scheme, and the same would follow for his home (read - palace), his bathtub, his nightgown, et al.
But the car sure is eye candy, eagerly awaiting the next lot of pics !!

Sorry if this sounds out of place, but why a seperate thread for this car?? I feel it belongs here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/post-1...others-13.html

The car looks very well maintained and cared for, but the colour scheme and the wheelcaps look horrible to say the least.
