Vow! Lovely! What a beautiful looking OH REE G NAL Super Select.:thumbs up
It surely has one of the finest bodylines and stance.clap:

Is that your car? Do post more details and more pictures if possible.

Hey Sunil, welcome to the "Wrong Hubcaps Club" !! :D I too am looking left right and centre for original hubcaps for my car.
Btw, you will also need original clip type wheels with the right clips in place first..

You have a really superb car, lovely clean bodyline. Good luck buddy !

So you're that friend! :)

Lovely car!
Well, for fitting the original hubcaps, you need to fit the original rims on, these are obviously padmini's.

Nice car there, as for the wheels, few rotting cars can be donors but for the wheel caps problem buddy, leave original even repros are hard to find these days.

Wonderful car, what condition you maintained it. You make it the help of FCCCI-Mumbai mods, and Arun1100 and Manish of FIAT 1100 CLUB BANGALORE regarding original fitments and parts for Fiats

Quiet some things are new under your hood. Have seen you car in some other pictures too.
@ Manish: Did Selects come with Cyclone type Paper air-filters? Padminis of the 70's came with Oil-bath type air-filters ! Or did PREMIER prefer oil-bath type for the Indian conditions ?

AFAIK till Delight we had those dry type air filter, later from President onwards it was oil bath and again at the end (not sute when) they went back to dry type air filter element.

All earlier dry type filter starting from Select mid 1958 onwards also had the system to have cold or hot air as desired.

More info can be had on the thread

Thanks for the knowledge Manish.
Be updated on our rally which is on 26th January

Hai,
thank you guys for your comments.I'm not very familiar with Fiats except that they were part of the " zero choice" 60's,70's and early 80's".Just out of college I had a 54, 1100, fitted with a twin choke downdraught Weber carb (got it from the second hand shops at Shivajinagar, B'lore) , Apex headers and freeflow exhausts, have had some real fun times with that car.Sadly originality was the least of our concerns in those days.
This Super Select was for sale with a dealer, one of those cars which catches your eye, good bodyline and reasonably original. It has definetly been worked on,but not molested if I may say so.I had made up my mind not to buy it but then :D.Is driven almost every day on short trips for oddjobs and errands, the only worry is the coastal weather.
Cheers,
SG
