No man - I've only got the clip wheels and clips. The Hubcaps still elude me..

Nice see more datails. two there nice thing visible there

1. Original horn - worth it's weight in gold.

2. Original Fuel pump - worth it's weight in gold.

3. Engine Bay Lights :O}

4. Original Air filter- if it has a hot air intake option, with a flap to select.

Is your carburetor made in italy? Also what brand is your Ignition coil?

As for mubarak meter works, I met him on Tuesday, he said he has most of the stuff, but it's first come first serve basis. So if you want just phone call and square the deal.

Also see that your Engine bay chassis plate printing is almost vanished. Good news is I have made a stencil / template in Autocad, just get the stencil printed, and you can spray on the same lettring again. Here is the link -

  1. I have the Bosch horn as well as well as dual MIXO horns. Will post details soon. But both are in excellent condition functionally.
  2. Please take a look at the hoses and let me know if there is a good place to get a complete set.
  3. As you can see, the rubber bushings lining the hood's shut-face are also missing. They are actually semi-molten and stuck on the lip of the hood! Need those too.
  4. To answer Manish, carb and ignition got "indianized" when I was a kid. I remember seeing a "Solex" box lying around!
Will post my acquisitions from Mubarak soon.

Re: 1961 Fiat Makeover

Hearty congratilations to see the Fiat restored.
If possible, please fit the correct tail lights. The ones you have are for Super Select.

Yes Sir: I am aware that the original was an aluminium body. Don't seem to able to find it anywhere.
Any tips or pointers are most welcome.

Re: 1961 Fiat Makeover

Fantastic outcome, I agree with others, the shade is very much period, great choice. Also really like the attention to detail factor, nothing can be termed as "ill-fitted" even the rubber gaskets behind light fixtures are neatly placed.
The only thing I kinda dislike is those Mud flaps (HM ??)

BTW Do share some pics of the interior & engine bay whenever possible.

Ofcourse the Aluminium frame is the OEM fitting, but Im taking of the tail light design itself.
Below is the correct tail light for your Select.
I carried for many years the incorrect tail light and finally last year , I got hold off the correct ones. I gave away the tail lights to another Fiatian.

About that HM on the mudflaps can be removed by wiping them with NC thinner on cotton waste swab.Full white mud flaps will look good.
