Congrats on your acquisition. Great to see you keeping it running. Have you tried approaching HD for any assistance?

Since stock form is military dressing, I guess you have a blank canvas to start with if you are interested in restoring.

An unrestored 1942 WLA on display at the HD museum in Milwaukee.

Hi, No I dont wish to change any thing on this bike as of now - it has aged so gracefully over these years that it has almost turned into old wine. Moreover Harleys are know for their customisation so I dont see any point bringing it back to the stock military outfit. I really like the way it is PURE VINTAGE!
