What a wonderful read. Thank you for sharing. As a first generation car owner, it is fascinating to read such historical accounts that go so far back. Even today not many people with the means to buy have the right taste or knowledge to buy what is right. Hence very impressive to see this trait from the princess so far back in the past.

I cannot thank you enough for this photo.

I was fortunate to be a cadet (from 1991-93) at SPI, Aurangabad when Col. J.D.Katkar was the institute's Director. Ours was the last course he presided over till he retired in 1992, and in that brief time, he made a permanent place in our hearts and minds. He was the embodiment of the term "An Officer & A Gentleman", and I can confidently state without any exaggeration that no 15 year old can hope for a better friend, philosopher and guide to mould his character & personality at that malleable age!

Fond memories, and thanks for the nostalgia trip!
