When & where were these photos taken?

Looks like a MK11 beside it?

Any other shots of this event?

Going by what i know you must be around twenty years old now.

Its amazing how you were sourcing cars in Mumabi in 2007.

Wasif,

As far as what I know, he's going to be 23 this May. Dont mean to be offensive, but is this question very relevant?

May be wasif thinks the car could not have been in mumbai and to top it picked up in 2007 and then restored to the way she looks!!! I was a bit foxed as well. People spend a life time finding such cars as they have been gobbled up and another life time to fix them so maybe wasif has the right to be foxed. Why don't you let the Karl Benz answere this one predator!! On a lighter note, we all know you are going to holiday there but let people have their say and don't get affected ignore at best cheers mate!!!

This Is What She Looked Like When I Got Her In 2007. Yes Im 22. Fortunately I Was Doing University In Switzerland And Had The Chance To Meet People Abroad And Source Parts. I Visited The Fiat Club In Milano And They Told Me That This Is The 4th Registered 521 C Tipo In Their Database.

There Was A Similar Car In A Museum In Yugoslavia. I Managed To Contact A Friend There And Got Some Details For Restoration, Including Pictures.

I Started Restoring All My Cars In 2006 And We Have Completed 8 Cars Since Then. My Lancia Lambda And Jaguar Mark 5 Are Still In The Pipeline.

Im Not Sure Of U Guys Know About The Jodhpur Car Rally. The Second Jodhpur Car Rally Is Tomorrow. I Hope To See You Guys There Someday.....further, This Site Is Just Fantastic.......great To Get To Know Fellow Car Lovers.............could Anyone Help Me Source Parts For My Lancia Lambda????

Regards,

Dhananjai

Karl, applaud your conservation efforts; and above all your attitude and contributions!

Any idea on the provenance / first owner ? Cheers!

That is quite a transformation, good show. Looking forward to seeing the Lambda completed. Approximately how many Lambdas and DiLambdas survive in India?

Do share photos of the rally with us, ideally covering every car that attended. And spend some more time on the site, it will amaze you! Nothing so comprehensive exists in the country today. Looking forward to more valuable contributions from people such as yourself.

Hi Dhananjai,

Currently there are 3 Lancias being done in Mumbai, two are Lambdas in distress.
There is an organisation abroad catering to Lancias. The first thing they want to know is the series, and possibly the engine/chassis no. Sometimes they can even tell you who was the first owner.
And, please a list of parts required to check what is available.

I will forward info to concerned when you reply.

Cheers Harit
