Maharaja Cars - Vintage Vignettes (Documentaries)

Here is the sister thread to "Cars of Rashtrapathi Bhavan" that show vintage Maharaja cars in "motion". These pictures and documetaries are all courtesy of www.britishpathe.com

It is surprising that these priceless treasures have withstood the ravages of time so well

Baroda Maharani Hispano Suiza and R-R Silver Ghost (movie taken in 1930)

Look carefully for the Hipano Suiza "Flying Stork" in the first two pictures

Hi Prem,

Is this the Baroda Hispano where there was a RR PIII with identical body? In that case the car appears to have left Indian shores.

I think the identical bodied (Gurney-Nutting ?) Hispano Suiza and R-R PIII belonged to Indore.
This car may be a H6B - which would make it predate the PIII by a few years (the photo / movie is also from 1930, before the PIII). Cheers

The supposed Packard looks like a 41 Buick to me.
