Interestingly there are no brakes, the way to slow down would be by applying your foot on the front tyre.

I don't know if this qualifies here, we still have this cycle. Many of us would remember this type of cycles which were popular in the 70-80's. Made by Jyothi Cycles. A clone of BSA Champ. Don't know if this brand (Jyothi) still exists.
