Knox really rocks!! Trust me on that; I've seen how bad (or standard) are the other shoulder, elbow protectors compared to Knox. That's why I went ahead to buy additional knee protection with Knox armor, though it dented my wallet to a great extent. Didn't want to trust the knee guards in the pants anymore.

Which other shoulder, elbow protectors are you referring to as bad? I've checked all (or most of the major ones at least).

Incidentally my current short riding jacket (RST Pro) has Knox armor and my long touring jacket (DriRider Apex) has CE rated PU armor. The Knox armor is better, but the CE rated armor is definitely not bad.

The knee protectors you bought extra cost how much for a set?

I'd like something for the hips, but my riding pants don't have hip armor pockets so wondering how to fit them .....

Yes you can return it as long as you have the barcode tag on. What was the name of the shop, I can call them and check as well.

I drove south of Boston to Brockton and bought it from a place called Motorcyle508 ( http://www.motorcycles508.com/)

Unfortunately, I dont have even the barcode tag. Could you please check with them and see if they still take it back? If yes, then can get it physically returned

Thanks much for your help:)

Did you buy Knox flexiform armor? Like the soft one that comes in SPG perzeus knee socks?

Got my uner armor gear from Decathlon yesterday.

The top is nice and I look forward to wearing it.

The bottom is definitely a bit on the warmish sid but thankfully not poky.

Quality of both garments is good for the price.

Happy to report that the dri-fit under garments worked like a charm over 1200 kms of some pretty heavy rains and some muggy weather as well.

@Shubz the "warm" pants are super comfortable. And the top dries in minutes. My best ride to date in terms of undergear wetness.

Any reviews about the DSG Primal Gloves?

I am looking for a riding gloves with proper wrist protection as well. Any other better options at around the same price range?

I use one and I'd recommend it.
It's been two happy years and not a single stitch has loosened.
You'd have to use rubber( :D ) on top, during rains but that's about it.
Check out SPG products too.(newer DSG customers complain of bad quality)

Great gloves. Comfortable. Been using daily for nearly an year. Protection in right places.

Only drawback is the velcro. Loses the holding effect after 6 months. You will have to get it re stitched from a cobbler

Any one use the Joe Rocket Reactor 3.0 jacket? It's a mesh jacket with leather lining and I'm wondering how it will hold up in Indian heat.
