Note from the Team-BHP Support Team: For queries and posts related to helmets please post here.
For all other riding gear such as jackets, boots, etc. please use this thread.
There was a thread by Rtech on the same subject - protective gear.
xcusi - that thread talked about the importance of riding gear. This one is about discussing one's own gear, so it is different.
My contributions:
- Full face helmet (most of the time except peak summer):
Nolan N102 with wired NCom speakers and mike:
- Open face summer / casual ride helmet
Momo Design Komposit (Carbon Fibre & Leather)

- Summer (and most of the time) riding jacket
Harley Davidson Chisel Mesh (with HD emblems covered!)
- Winter (whatever we have here) jacket
Icon Pursuit Perforated Leather
Clover SRS(3M ScotchLite composite fabric with Carbon fibre knuckles)
- Backpack for Camera + Laptop
Ogio No-Drag

Nice kit you got there Steer :thumbs up
Mine at present comprise of a GPR helmet, Levis Jeans, T Shirt/Shirt, Woodland shoes, and a Duckback rain jacket, and a laptop bag (non nondrag) :D I'm soon buying Cramster Jacket and Gloves.
Really happy to find a new thread like this. This will be a good move for all who are searching for new riding gears. After a long search in this forum I have also ordered for a DSG spike jacket and offroad gloves.Cheers.......cheers:

Straight6 lots of gear for one man? My number of Jeans is lesser than the number of your riding jackets... lol :D Nice collection of kit!
Wow, nice gear you guys have. Am surprised (and happy) that riders in India wear good gear. But dont you guys feel uncomfortable in that gear, vis-a-vis a pair of jeans, a windcheater, lightweight gloves and sports shoes?
kunal and manson great stuff man...!!
Kunal you need to get a good SBK asap man :) your gear rocks,i will borrow from you as i get my SBK ;)

Thanks :). The collection is only going to get bigger. The only thing I don't have is riding pants/knee protection. Thats next on my list.

I find it very comfortable because I make sure I buy the right size. Riding jackets should fit as snug as possible. Besides, I don't wear all this(except the helmets)in the city unless its winter because I cant stand cold weather. For summer, I have the mesh jackets and gloves. This is mainly for the long rides out of town. Sometimes, if its going to be a long ride within the city, I do wear the jackets and gloves.

Don't worry, I'll get one. I've bought all this in anticipation of one in the first place. It's not something you can hurry into. So which one are you planning for? :)
