In the 15-39 age group, road accidents account for 14.4% of the deaths, while the figure goes up to 17.7% for the 15-29 age group. In comparison, among women, road accidents account for 3.4% of the deaths in the 15-39 age group and 3.3% in the 15-29 age group.

The study also reveals that over the last 30 years, the number of deaths due to road accidents in the 15-19 age group has reduced. This could due to strict enforcement of traffic laws.
