Mini. Did he have a neon sign flashing: "This car may be small but it was absurdly expensive, get our of my way!"

I guess... he didn't need one. It was in the "body language."

A bus driver Mr Balu Gaikwad posted with the Bhekrai Nagar, PMPML depot, Pune, forced a Tata Nexon driver who came from the wrong side to reverse back his way out of the wrong lane. The upright bus driver used his presence of mind and also helped clear the traffic jam caused as a result. Gaikwad's bus was unable to move ahead and had created a traffic jam as the Nexon had sneaked into the wrong side blocking the bus.

Any time I see a vehicle with these dark curtains I stay far away. This guy at least has his curtains somewhat opened (although he has blinded his blind spot completely). Many drive with the curtains fully closed. :Frustrati

I wish there are more good traffic cops like this one, take a bow because wrong side driving has become rampant in Bangalore, auto drivers are getting uncontrollable and most traffic cops are turning a blind eye.

But you can see the systemic rot at the end of the video. So many autos parked facing the wrong direction and one coming in the wrong way.

In the last 10years, I have not seen a single Auto being pulled up by traffic cops for breaking the rule in Bengaluru. This was not the case earlier, not sure what has changed. But we have come quite a long distance in the wrong way. :Frustrati

I was driving in the right lane, and as soon as I overtook this Brezza, this driver decided to overtake me. His maneuver was just pathetic & risky. I have no clue whether he took it in his ego when a Jimny overtook his car, or he just wanted to overtake me again and misjudged the gap between my car & the tractor. Or he might have thought I would apply the brakes on the right lane and let him come in front of my car! I have no clue what was going on in his head. I was cruising at a steady speed between 105 km/hr - 115 km/hr.

I think he wanted to overtake the tractor before you reach the spot next to the tractor.
The Space next to tractor is the "Threatened Space" and he wanted to grab it.

Silly aggressive driving by the white Brezza but unfortunately this is very common phenomenon on Indian highways. We should all be prepared for this. It looks like he immediately floored the A-pedal for otherwise he could not have caught up with you so quickly. Pretty lousy and completely unnecessary if you ask me but may be he was playing for some ego-trophy that no one else gives a damn about.

On a completely different note. If a Jimny overtook me I would stay behind it and admire its beauty. To all Jimny owners out there (particularly those who own the red one), accept my sincere appreciation clap:

Looks to me like two-wheeler style. The guy has forgotten he is driving a car. On a bike, I'm sure he would have taken the gap between you and the tractor even as you reached it.

This behavior is on the rise, and I don't think it's always road rage either. A lot of drivers seem to have poor judgment of where their car's 4 corners are, and cut in a little too close, even at highway speeds.

2-wheeler habits, or just poor driving training? Could be both.

People have ZERO idea about traffic rules. It is all too common for them to drift into the neighboring lane without even looking in their mirrors or blind spot. That’s why I end up using the horn as a warning.

To me this looks like he was on phone distracted and missed the slow moving tractor in front and when he realized he’s getting too fast at the back of tractor, rather than slowing down and checking the mirror, he tried to find the straight line and came right in front of your car. That’s what racers do and we have enough of Schumacher's and Rossi’s on public road, unfortunately we have to share roads with them.

This guy should thank his stars, could have easily gone for a tail spin (pit lane maneuver) with a slight touch to your front and could have been terrible for him and his passengers. Thats what cops do while chasing the cars.

I had a multiple roll-over when some idiot swiped near left rear tire on rear passenger door. This guy went to the shoulder while overtaking me, and then tried to course correct himself while touching my car. I was cruising at 120, so for sure he was more than my speed. Just in my case he was driving under influence.

I have seen enough of such mavericks, driving happening at 100+ speed, when people tend to slowly leave their driving lane, while they are busy “swiping up” their mobile phones or completely distracted by their phones. They tend to unknowingly glide in your lane, all you need is to give a micro second honk to let them know of your presence and they go back where they should be.

It’s just scary for both the cars, if this was a deliberate swerving attempt, the reason I get scared on Indian roads, even insurance & law won’t help, forget about the injuries one might sustain.

It's worse than that! It doesn't matter so much that people know the ins and outs of the rules. What matters most is that they instinctively feel the danger that they are putting themselves, and others, in.

The example that I regularly give for this is the two-wheeler (and sometimes four) habit of steaming around a blind turn on the wrong side of the road. If I had to take a turn like that, it would be with great care inspired by some amount of fear!
