Noida to Nagpur Route

We are embarking on a triangular drive about 4k around Noida - Nagpur - Mumbai - Noida soon.

While Nagpur - Mumbai and Mumbai - Noida route pretty much known and worked upon, the first drive Noida - Nagpur is the one still being worked upon.

The route investigated for Noida - Nagpur leg of the journey is as follows:

NH75 Noida-Agra-Gwalior-Jhansi

NH26 Jhansi-Babina-Talbahat-Lalitpur-Gona-Malthone-Barodia-Bandri-Sagar (Bypass?)-Makronia-Surkhi-Gourjhamar-Maharajpur-Bitali-Barmaan-Kareli-SH22 Join-Narsimhpur (Bypass?)-SH22 Exit-Danghidhana-Bachia-Murgwani-Lakhnadon-NH 26 Ends-NH 7 Join

NH7 Lakhandon-Ganeshganj-Seoni Chhapara-Banoi-Nagjhar-Lugharawara-Seoni-Khairi-Gopalganj-Pench NP Entry-Suktara Ryt-Khawasa-Wadamba-Deolapar-Pauni-Pench NP End-Hiwara-Amadi-Hind Col Wardha Rd-Tekdi-Kanhan-Kamthi-Nagpur

The above route seems the way onward.

What I would like to know if anybody has travelled in recent times in this route:
1. How good / bad is the route / a part of the route in these various stretches?

2. What would be a good point to make a midway stop for a night halt in the route? Seems to me Sagar or Narsimhapur could be good options with about 632 km and 772 km from Noida respectively. And any good hotels to stay with kids travelling along?

Thanks a lot for any info anybody can share.
