Bhati Wildlife (Bird) Sanctuary - in Delhi

Hi,

In today's times - i saw an article about a bird santuary in the erstwhile Bhati mines area in Delhi.

I did not know that something like this existed. Has anybody been to this sanctuary?

How to reach it? What to do? Can we take our vehicles in? Any entry points? Tickets?

Any details will be welcome.

Re: Bhati Wildlife (Bird) Sanctuary - in Delhi

Thanks. Been to this link, but there is not much information here.

Some questions that come to my mind are -

1. How to get there - some vague information is given in the link, more precise data will be appreciated.

2. What to do when i reach there:
2a - is there a ticketing system
2b. - can i take my vehicle in? do i have to trekk?
2c. - any guides, etc available?
2d. - are there different gates?
3. ETC

OT - the delhi forest website is a total shame

EDIT: Wikipedia is a better source but not good. Pls see - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asola_B...life_Sanctuary
Regards,
SAchin
