Chikmagalur route query

Hi,

I'm planning a road trip from Pune -> Chikmagalur -> Goa -> Pune. From Gmaps got following routes. Can you please suggest if this route would be good and current conditions on the road?

Pune to Belgaum would be pretty straight forward, how about further from Davanagere?
Pune -> Belgaum -> Davanagere -> Ajjampur -> Chikmagalur

Chikmagalur to South Goa
Chikmagalur -> Agumbe -> Kundapura -> Murdeshwar -> Gokarna -> Majorda beach, Goa

I would appreciate your feedback on this.
