Route info required from sultan battery to Salem

I would be travelling from Bangalore to Sultan Battery in KA-KL border(http://www.fringeford.com/getthere.htm). I need to travel from there to salem and back to bangalore.

I need help in choosing the route from sultan Battery to Salem.
