Hello guys,
I am planning to drive down from Jaipur to Bangalore on 18th August or thereabouts.

Google provided the following routes as options










Vadodara -Mumbai-Pune was not suggested due to flooding in Mumbai. I guess it would be a temporary phenomenon.

Which should I take. Please help

For Jaipur-Bangalore, it had been suggesting the route through Bhopal, Nagpur, and Hyderabad even before the flood situation. The food options in this route are a bit limited though.

Gwalior-Nagpur route has good roads, you can maintain good speeds!

I have been planning to do a Jaipur-Hyd trip and the plan has been to go via Kota-Bhopal-Nagpur. If you can cover Jaipur - Bhopal in a day (I know of many people who have done that so hopefully the roads are good enough), that gives you good overnight stop over options at Bhopal and then Nagpur. For your case, you could potentially take another break at Hyderabad.

Thanks everyone for replying. I have personally traveled from Bangalore to Nagpur. The road between Nagpur and jaipur is unknown to me. Its heartening to learn that Bhopal to Nagpur is good. Jaipur to Bhopal should be good as well but I’m waiting for someone who knows for sure to reply.
Is it a tolled road between Bhopal and Nagpur. Does the road from Jaipur to Bhopal have tolls?

I’ve decided to start from Jaipur early morning at 5:00Am and take Kota-Bhopal-Nagpur to reach Nagpur before 22:00 - Day1

Start late from Nagpur at 9:00 and reach Hyderabad (Shamshabad) EOD. - Day2

Start early at 5:00 and reach Bengaluru by midday - Day 3

Grateful for an update on the road conditions between Jaipur and Bengaluru by anyone who has used the route in the past few months.

Yes, my ongoing journey was done exactly as mentioned above.

My return journey was:
Mangalore-Mumbai day1
Mumbai-Jaipur day2

Is Bhopal-Betul all good now? Am a bit surprised, since most of the section was poor back in November 2020. 4-laning hadn't even begun in some sections.

I am planning a similar road trip from Jaipur to Bangalore. Any suggestions from people based on the new highways and road conditions?

I am kind of inclined towards Aurangabad route and passing through ellora caves while making a stop. Any idea about the recent state of roads on this route?

Aurangabad to Bangalore roads are in very good to excellent condition, with very minimal traffic. However food options are very limited. Last time I did it in 12hrs with 3 breaks.
