Hi BHPians,

I will be travelling by road with family, including a pet - our adorable Whippet Doggie, from Visakhapatnam (Vizag) to Mumbai. Will be taking both my trusty Jetta TSI and wife's Polo 1.2 on the trip, as we are re-locating, driven in rotation by self, wife and one or two drivers we plan to take along.

Seek inputs of fellow BHPians on the following for planning the trip: -

1. Best route.

2. Recommended halts.

3. Pet friendly and driver friendly accommodations at the halts. Don't mind paying a bit more for quality stay.

Assuming route from Hyderabad and Pune is the best route for you, do look at airbnbs. We’ve stayed with pets in Hyderabad and Pune at great bnbs. Do put the filter of Superhost. Other than this Ibis hotel (stayed in Ibis Hinjewadi) in some cities have petfriendly floors. And they are quite affordable too.
