Hi Team

Am planning to travel to Binsar (Uttarakhand) In Feb. Will be travelling from Delhi.

Seek some advice on:

1) Binsar as a destination?

2) Roads and journey i.e., starting time considering the fog situation

3) Weather in Binsar? Snow, rain, fog, etc

4) Accommodation in Binsar?

5) Duration of the trip i.e., would a 4 day return trip suffice?

6) Anything else we should be considering for this short trip?

Binsar is a fantastic winter destination, with Khali Estate being the place of stay of choice as it is inside the wildlife sanctuary. Route is Nainital - Almora - Binsar. Expect snow in the latter stages of the journey. Otherwise, roads are mostly good. We spent 4 nights in Binsar and it is totally worth it, especially if you are the outdoorsy type. You can plan for day excursions to Jageshwar and Patal Bhuvneshwar caves, both of which have to be experienced.
