Cochin Airport to Vagamon Route Query

Hello All

Looking for pointers on the below as we will be flying from Hyderabad to Cochin and will be spending time in Vagamon & Thekkady from 17th Feb to 20th Feb -

1) Self Drive options from Cochin Airport - EVM wheels seems to have good reviews , has anyone used recently and if yes can you please share your review

2) Best scenic Route from Cochin Airport to Muttom (we have booked Airbnb in this place)

3) Any off beat recommendations ( scenic places ) around Vagamon , Thekkady apart from the usual tourist places
