Hello Guys

I plan to drive my brand new Tata Safari from Ranchi to Goa after 2 weeks.
My plan current plan is as follows, Kindly suggest.
Day 1. Ranchi to Rajnandgaon
Day 2. Rajnandgaon to Nagpur and then take the Samruddhi expressway to Aurangabad.
Day 3. Aurangabad to Goa (need suggestions on route to take for this leg of the journey)

My suggestion is to take Jalna exit from Samruddhi Expressway instead of Aurangabad. You would save Aurangabad traffic. From Jalna take NH 52 to Solapur then take NH 166 to Sangli and NH 160 to Sankeshwar or continue NH 166 to Kolhapur. Both from Sankeshwar or Kolhapur go to Amboli and onwards to Goa.

Thanks. Have your travelled on this road recently? I travelled Shirdi to Goa 3 months back and I was advised to take Shirdi-Pune-Sattara-Karad-Anuspura-Oros-Goa route because the other ghats were in a very very bad state.

If somebody could confirm the status of these ghats now!

Not me, but my friend came through this route a couple of weeks back and the road is good, with some spelling corrections -

Pune-Satara-Karad-Anuskura-Oros-Goa

This ghat has lots of curvy turns though that you wil have to carefully negotiate

Kolhapur - Amboli - Goa is also not bad, its always a safe choice.
