Yedakumeri

Have any of you gone to Yedakumeri ? The Yedakumeri trek is supposed to be on the railway line that goes to Mangalore (?)

Gauge conversion on the tracks had put a end to the railway traffic thus making a wonderful place to trek. Does anyone know if the route is still open ?

yedakumeri or the Green route is one of the most exciting & nerve tingling treks.Gauge conversion is complete as also the goods trains.....4-6 trains per day.The trek can be done now but you'll have to bribe the railway guys & be very careful on the bridges, while trains are approaching.
