Goa trip planned. Help needed

We are planning a trip to Goa and need some info.

Are vehicles available for hire there ? Bikes ? what's the cost ? Cars ? What's the cost ?

Another big problem is accomodation. We want cheap accomodation. Some friends had gone some time back and they stayed in a cottage in Calangute. For 130/- per night per person.

We are looking for similar accomodation. These guys stayed in the cottage near the beach.

Please help.

Im not sure about bikes, but you get Activas for around 200-300. There are a couple of buses including some private operators going around Goa though I havent ever been on them.

No idea about accomodation in that price range. Sorry
