Am going to Shirdi this weekend and coming to Pune on Saturday morning. My train comes around 930AM. Can you please guide me on the various modes of transport from Pune to Shirdi ?
Are there good buses available ( read Volvo ) from somewhere near the station ?
Any info on staying in Shirdi will also be very helpful.

You could look at a cool cab budget permitting from the railway station , other option is the bus like you mentioned , check out Raj Travel World

Hotel , only know of the sun n sand , Sun-n-Sand Hotel

Buses leave from Pune late in the evening. Consider after 8:00 pm. Shivaji Nagar station is the place to be to take a Volvo to Shirdi. Check out the following sites for schedules and contact numbers

Need some help, I will be reaching Pune on 30/31st Jan and returing on same day.

I have some work in Sanghvi Nagar, Aundh but have no idea about this locality.

I need to know
1) Distance from Airport, and time required to reach
2) Mode of transport from/to Airport and average fare
3) Good place - for simple MH lunch

Let me see whether I can spot some TBHP cars!

This would be around 24 kms from the Airport and the time would be around 45 minutes. Consider booking a cab with Traveltime or Wings Radio cabs or Mycorporate car ; Simple good place for MH lunch would be at JM Road, Shivajinagar - am not aware of more placed around Sangvi.
