Just saw the news that Covid report mandatory for travellers coming from Maharashtra and Kerala. Does this also apply by road?? Mum-Goa route?

Hi Guys, I'm new to the community. I'd love some advice on the Mumbai (thane to be precise) to Goa route. With family 3 adults, 2 young kids on a long road trip - we're driving from Delhi (but taking it slow, doing about 300km a day).
We'll be heading to Thane tomorrow and looking to leave day after from Thane - advise on which route to take? I was really hoping to drive along the coast or take the more picturesque NH 66 and stopping a day at Chiplun but heard roads and truck traffic can be rough on this route.

I'm undertaking a road trip on a motorcycle to Goa on the 30th September 2022 with pillion and luggage. Which road would be advisable. Considering the rain and road condition.
Please do advice, as this is my first road trip and will really appreciate your inputs.

While I have driven on both routes NH 4 and NH 17 I am thinking of trying a new route on the coastal road via Murud, Harnai, Ganpatipule, Malvan and Goa. It may be a 3 day journey with halts.
Just asking if any members have done this route recently and welcome your suggestions for stops overs and resorts.

You might want to check the following thread by one of our fellow Bhpain.
Hope this helps. They did a coastal drive to Goa a couple of months back.
