Route from Pune to Tadoba

Has anyone done a driver from Pune to Tadoba. Heard there is a new road from Jalna to Wardha, avoiding Akola & Amraovati. Also need some guidance for the route from Wardha to Moharli or Kolsa (both at the Tadoba sanctuary)

Hey, I am reviving this thread as my request is the same. Could someone please tell me the route that I need to take to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve from Pune? I am offered 3 routes by GMaps. I am driving on June 5th with Family and I am driving a Hyundai i10 next gen Kappa2.

GMap routes
Via Aurangabad, Jalna, Sultanpur, Talegaon, Deoli
Via Aurangabad, Parbhani, Nirmal, Adilabad, Chandrapur
3rd route - I am not taking it

Any travel tips would be much appreciated

I think the high level option should be :

Pune-Nagar-Aurangabad-Jalna-Mekhar-Karanja-Talegaon-Warda bypass- Sevagram - Tadoba

Pune-Talegon is decent with bad sections around Nagar/Aurangabad.

. I assume that almost 80% of the road is good. I plan to start early in the morning by 3am from Pune. However on my return leg I may pass through these roads in the late evenings / night. Is this road safe to drive at night?

Not sure about that. May be its good to break the journey over 2 days on return. (Just suggesting). I dont have any idea about night drives in these regions.

Team, planning to do this next week.
Starting from Hinjewadi around 12 pm, and plan to reach Amravati by night.

Route is Pune - Nagar - Aurangabad - Jalna -( have heard roads are fine till jalna ), what do we expect post Jalna ?

Next day will be reserved for Amravati to Tadoba run.
Return journey to pune will start from Chhindwara MP and we hope to do this in One day.
Is this really doable in one day? What is the best route we should take?

Car is Hexa, 4 people who can drive long distance.
Please advise/Educate/let me know good places for Food etc.

Jalna - Amravati -- Will take at least 5-6 hours. This is undivided dual carriageway road and road work in Progress. Stick to the main highway don't follow GMaps as it will take you via village roads, which are in worse condition.

Amravati - Nagpur -- Smooth road but Nagpur bypass is in bad shape.

Chhindwara - Pune -- Can be done in one day.
