Shimoga - Belgaum Route Query

Hi Team, Need to know details of a shortest and better route from Shimoga to Belgaum. I have once travelled by Bus upto to Hubli about 2 years ago but i am not aware of the exits from Shimoga; looking forward for your inputs.

Mods: This is my 1st New thread and hope its at the right place; if not please move it appropriately - Thanks in advance.

Take NH4 all the way via Hubli, Haveri to Harihar.
After you enter the Harihar-Davangere bypass, you will cross the River Tungabhadra and will come to a small intersection, where the left goes into Harihar own, and you turn right for Shimoga. This road goes via Honnali.

Hey thanks for the input i am looking at Exits from Shimoga to reach upto Honnali once i reach NH4 then i am aware of the road ahead.
