Delhi to Solon...

I was looking for any info on how to go to Solon from Delhi. Can anyone help me on this ? I dont have a ride in Delhi , so will have to use public transport. Please also let me know how to get to the Bus terminus from the airport.

Solon? I guess you mean Solan (in Himachal Pradesh).
Since you are not driving, you can visit New Delhi Railway station and catch a train to Chandigarh/Kalka, from there you can take a taxi or a bus to Solan.
I am not sure about a direct bus service from Delhi ISBT (Kashmere Gate), but you can get a Volvo bus to Shimla - Solan is en route.

You can contact HP tourism office in Delhi for the bus departure timings and place.

Take a cab or avail the DTC coach service. Also if you want to travel by AC get your tickets from the Himachal Bhawan near Mandi House for the bus leaving at 8 pm and 9.30 am. Apart from these there are numerous regular buses from ISBT kashmere gate.

Hi Neoranjit,

The easiest way to travel to Solan is to Reach Kashmiri Gate ISBT from the Airport (by pre-paid cabs available at the airport) and take a volvo/delux bus run by HRTC (State Transport). The Volvo/Delux buses leave in the evening between 7:30 to 8:30 PM) and should have you in Solan comfortably by 4 AM the next morning.

You can try pre-booking a ticket using the HRTC Enquiry at [SIZE=1][COLOR=#800000]011-23868694.[/COLOR][/SIZE]
