I think this would be the right route.

Delhi < Ghaziabad < Hapur < Gajraula < Moradabad < Rampur < UdhamSingh Nagar < Pantnagar

I hope i am right .If any one has a better route please let me know.

This IS the correct route. Why on earth would you need to go to Nainital to get to Pantnagar? NH24 to Rampur, then turn left to follow NH87 to Pantnagar. About 200 km to Rampur, then another 50-60 km to Pantnagar. Bypass Moradabad city by turning right onto the BP under the flyover being built (I think it's not yet complete). Careful between end of Hapur bypass and Garh-Mukteshwar, the road is still single lane with construction going on, on it.

Driving time: about 4.5 to 5 hours if you leave at 4 am. 6.5-7 hours during the day and evening.
