Delhi to Amravati Route

I'm planning to travel in early Oct'09 from Gurgaon to Amravati (Maharashtra). I've got idea about route that is Gurgaon - Agra - Gwalior - Shivpuri - Guna - Biora - Bhopal - Betul - Amravati. However, from my past experience (almost 10-12 year before), I've notion that there is no good road in MP. I would appreciate to know, how is this route or any better alternative route. Also I appreciate any Do's / Don't special to these route. Thanks a lot.

hi there,

I think you have a choice to go from Gwalior to Jhansi and from there to Itarasi via Lalitpur and Hoshangabad. But it is better for you to check with some other people who have used this route recently.
