You have another 150 odd kilometers to add to it (starting off from Pune).

Travelling from Pune to Delhi in Ford Fusion 1.4 TDCI on 11 April
The plan is as follows:-

1 11 April- Pune (dep 4.00 PM)-Reach Thane by evening

2 12 April- Thane (dep 7.00 AM)- Ahmedabad

3 13 April- Ahmedabad Dep 8.00 AM - Nasirabad

4 14 April- Nasirabad Dep 8.00 AM -Delhi

I have a few queries-

- Staying i ahmedabad in the cantt area, should I approach
the cantt thru the city or via the Sardar Patel Ring Road

- Precise point after Udaipur to turn towards Chittorgarh to
reach Nasirabad and avoid Ajmer.

- Eating joints on ahmedabad-nasirabad and Nasirabad- Delhi strech

Why stop over at Nasirabad? The roads are so good that you can drive from Thane to Udaipur and Udaipur/Ahmedabad to Delhi the same day. You have better stay options at Kishnagarh & Jaipur too.

Ahmedabad Cantonment is north side of the city next to the Airport. Therefore, it is better to exit from the Baroda-Ahmedabad expressway onto the Sardar Patel Ring Road towards Himmatnagar/Udaipur and go on it till the Ranasan Circle (where you rejoin NH8). Instead of turning right towards Udaipur, continue on the SP Ring Road and you will reach the airport.

In Udaipur, do not enter the city. Take the narrow bypass on NH8 till you reach a junction where signages point straight to Nathdwara/Ajmer, left to Udaipur and right to Airport/Chittorgarh/Bhilwara. Take the right onto NH76 and that will take you to Nasirabad via Chttorgarh & Bhilwara.

Please check the attached file - it has the coordinates for both the Ahmedabad SP Ring Road (exit 20 kms after passing the Reliance petrol pump on the expressway). IN it, please refer item #

Nasirabad I have accn in the cantonment again.
On my return journey I will Delhi_Udaipur on Day 1
and Udaipur Thane on Day2 with Thane Pune on day3

How do I move out of Ahmedabad cantt to move towards Udaipur, there is gate in the Cantt which opens on the airport road, please provide me directions after that.

Yes, that is right. You will be on the SP Ring Road till Ranasan Circle where you will join NH8 towards Himmatnagar/Udaipur. Hardly 15 minutes to NH8.

you can do udaipur - pune in one day that is day2 on your return journey. The roads are extremely good.

The trip finally takes off tomorrow, planning to stay
11 night at Thane and since on 12 April I have to travel only till
Ahmedabad, can I leave Thane by 8 AM. Can leave early in case you
people advise, as I am not sure about the traffic conditions on the Thane-
Vapi section

Where will you stay in Thane?
Sunday is a less-traffic day on NH8 between Thane & Vapi, so a late morning departure is not a bad idea. You can comfortably reach Ahmedabad by evening.

Do not enter in the city, Take right turn on two laned highway, you will see Hyundai showroon on left side of this road, continue straight, next land mark is Geetanjali Hospital which is located on the right side of this road, after Getanjali Hospital (approx. 400 m) there is cross road, continue straight, do not take turn, after 1 km there is another cross road, continue straight, (land marks you will see VW, Chevrolet, Honda, Ford show rooms on right side of this road), continue straight, there is another cross road, now take right turn, now you are on four laned NH 76, continue straight do not take any turn till Mangalwar (approx 66km). From Mangalwar take left turn for Chittaurgarh.
