Kaas on 18th Oct?

Dear All,

I read about Kaas on forums here and am amazed. Staying 120 kms away I didn't know such a treat existed. I read it a tad late as many have adviced the best period for visit is from mid september till first week of Oct.

Would it be worthy of taking a ride to Kaas to see whether the valley of flowers are still in a state of bloom? Now that we are at the second half of oct, I'm not sure. But guess I'm in a hurry and don't want to wait for another 350 days!

Can some one let me know whether it would be good to drive down this weekend expecting the flowers to be there?

Your advice and tips are highly appreciated.
