ooty to coimbatore road closed or open to traffic?

hi
heard that road from ooty to mettupalayam via coonor was closed due to land slide recently. also heard that traffic is now going thro kotagiri instead of usual ghat road.this has lead to huge delay in traffic movement.
can any of you give the correct scene as of now?

the roads are open for both ways from 1st. but guys double check , the reason i am sharing this as i had to come back from barliar again to metupalayam then kothagiri, the police didnt allow saying again its temporarly closed of some uncertainity.

pls check before you get on the hills.
