can anybody suggest a good and reliable car hire agency with numbers or owner reference?

this time im flying into hyd and then travelling by hired vehicle.

You have plenty of options at the airport itself.you could check the airport website www.hyderabad.aero or call the toll free number mentioned in the site and they would assist.you have plenty of self drive as well cab options at the airport itself.

alternately you could also call just dial and you would be flooded with offers and quotes.the well known agencies are Noori/Hussain/4 Wheels/Premier,you could also check wit Dot Cabs,at any given time they have zillions of offers running,check www.dotcabs.com

i accesssed teambhp after a few days in the meanwhile

i have decided on highwaycabs.com

they are giving me at 7/km min 250kms for outdoors with 200 being driver outstation charges

in city they are giving me 1100 for 100kms and 12 hours and theraafter at 7km/hr and 40/hour extra

im flying in tomorrow and proceeding staright to srisailam then nsd and then coming in to hyd

i will go to warangal situation permitting on sat

sun i fly back to mumbai

Renting cars like ambassador, Contessa with drivers was mundane during the our days, I am interested in renting a Luxury car for a day or two maybe a 5 series, or similar.Facing these questions such as :

1.What facilities are they providing ex: Driver or Driver less?
2.How many brands are available?
3.Are they pocket friendly?
4.what are the address/ contacts if one wants rent one?

These are two car rentals have used both their services and they are quite good.You can even check Hussain Travels if you are located in secunderabad.

Guys, i would need to book atleast 2 innovas for 3 days ... about 14 hrs a day for a marriage function. I have never done any long duration bookings earlier. Checked few travel sites. Going by the tariffs on their site, for ex, say: 4wheels.
8hrs/80 kms - Rs2600
Extra km beyond 80km - Rs 22
Extra hr beyond 8hrs - Rs 150/hr
Driver bhatta - Rs 60

For 14hrs/80kms, it would cost me Rs3260 + taxes... adding up some extra kms, it would easily go over Rs3500 per vehicle for a day

Same operator, if booked from taxiguide.in
8hrs/80kms - Rs2189
Extra km: Rs 18.5
Extra hr: Rs 125
For 14hrs/80kms, would cost me Rs2689 (includes all taxes)

*and the above km would start from operator's garage..

That is quite a difference....
I would prefer talking directly to the operator, but what rates should be reasonable to bargain for?
Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks bud! They are at airport and they have the cheapest rates compared to other online agencies. I was wondering if anyone personally knows a reliable agency which they know or used !

Carzonrent,Avis and Autoriders are the best options.Carzonrent was the Hertz franchisee earlier and now operate by themselves as Hertz is franchised by Orix now.I have rented selfsrives from carzonrent and they have all been good.there was an offer on xuv500 for 2500 a day.you could check with them for more details

The recognised self drive car rental agencies like Carzonrent, Autoriders, etc don't have the THAR in their inventories.
