Mumbai to Pachmarhi via Hoshangabad

Guys, I plan on doing Pune- Jabalpur soon. Have never ventured out towards that area so need suggestions on the route and time!

I can drive app 1200kms in a day without breaking a sweat!

All suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!

What I think should be the best option:
Pune-Nagar-Aurangabad-Mehkhar-Karanja-Amravati-Nagpur-Seoni-Jabalpur.

Hi Folks,

I am planning to do a road trip from Delhi to Pachmarhi. Google maps shows me Delhi - Agra - Gwalior - Jhansi - Sagar - Pipariya - Pachmarhi route. However before I start off, i would like to ask if anybody has got experience of this route. Or is there a better option.

The posts I can see on T-BHP are pretty old and I am sure the road conditions would have changed since then.

Hello folks,
I am planning to ride from Mumbai to Pachmarhi, MP via Indore next week and was looking at route options when I stumbled upon this thread. Since it is pretty old, I would greatly appreciate if someone can share some thoughts about the ideal route.
First day I will breaking for the night in Indore (for the food!).

Option 1: Indore - Sehore - Hoshangabad - Pachmarhi - This is about 40km more than Option 2 but takes the same time.

Option 2: Indore - Sandalpur - Pachmarhi. Indore to Sandalpur is a section of NH47 which I am assuming should be fine. The questionable portion is about 100km of Sandalpur to Hoshangabad via SH 22.

Note: I will be riding a N650 and other bikes in the group are a pair of Street triples and a Vulcan650.

Also looking for any advise on Pachmarhi things-to-do.
