Shirdi to Bhandardara via Sangamner and Akole approx 116 kms

Shirdi to Bhandardara via Sangamner and Akole - approx 116 kms on 16th April 2010

We were 5 Adults in Hyundai Accent GLE 2005

Driving time - 3.5 hrs with a quick stop for cold drinks and refreshments

Driving Directions -

-- Head toward New Prasadalaya Rd south on SH10
-- Pass by Khandoba Temple on the right
-- Pass Sakori
-- Pass Astagaon
-- At Bableshwar there is an Extreme Right onto SH44 take that
-- Continue on SH44 pass Loni reach Sangamner
-- At Sangamner there is a right turn immediately afterthe bus stand which will continue on SH44, keep going and pass Akole
-- Good petrol pumps at Sangamner and Loni but you could fill on the SH10 itself when leaving from Shirdi
-- Continue till Rajur – Take Ratangad to Rajur Rd
-- Continue on road to Shendi - reach Bhandardara

Road condition ok - some places you can speed upto 80 - 90 but be very careful as this is totally a single carriage road, must watch out for the local bikers

Read - At Sangamner there is a LEFT turn immediately after the bus stand which will continue on SH44, keep going and pass Akole
