hey folks
ginger has more than 5000kms under his belt. we have traveled extensively with him. but this would be the longest and the toughest by far.

The best option would be not to take Ginger. But if you must ensure
(a) Give him plenty of water to drink at regular intervals.
(b) Let him peak out or keep his snout out of the window.
(c) Let him out for small walks on a leash every 2 hours or so.

Deky every breed has his peculiarities even if they live in alien environment, but yes if you take your Ginger to Leh he would have less problems than the Ginger in question due to larger lung capacity, size and weight.

Are you going via Manali (sorry didnt check the route)? If yes, there are a few shops in Manali that sell trekking equipment. I saw one of them keeping portable O2 cylinders. You can request/ PM Manali Bhpians to help you with this.
