Hey guys,

need help on the above trip. Planning a 20 odd day road trip. After my successfull mumbai - himachal - mumbai trip, i am planning a mumbai - sikkim - mumbai.

Below i am putting down my rough itinerary. Guys let me know if the same sounds good. Also let me know things i need to take care off. Viz - permissions for special places, the time a route is open (between 9a.m - 6.p.m), places to stay, any interesting places to visit.

Here i am planning to go via Delhi, want to skip complete M.P given the current 'Red alert'. Have calculated 3 days of travel from mumbai to Sikkim (Gangtok)

DAY 1-Reach Gangtok (@ 6-7 pm) + Rest/Shopping etc
DAY 2-Gangtok To Lachung via Mangan-Phodong Monastery- Lachung Stay
DAY 3-Yumthang–Katao Peak-Chumthang-Stay
DAY 4-Chungthang-Lachen-Stay-Sight Seeing
DAY 5-Lachen –Thangu-Chopta Valley- Gurudongmar-Lachen
DAY 6-Lachen-Gangtok-rest
Day 7-Ganktok- Tsomgo(Changu) Lake or Nathula Pass
Day 8-Gangtok-Pelling stay
Day 9- Pelling Sight Seeing/Kaluk/Uttarey/Varshey-
