Bypassing Ahmedabad

Had a PM from Khoj today exact details to bypass Ahmedabad, he'd be traveling from Mumbai to Delhi tomorrow. Not possible to send attachment through PM, so attaching a PDF mail I made for Ahmedabad, with details to by-pass exactly.

Hope this would be useful to others too..

Let me supplement the details given by ramkya1, also a summary of the route:

When you are coming from Bombay side on the expressway, distance particulars are as follows:

Baroda side Toll gate, 7 kms from start of expressway
Anand/Balej Exit, 28 kms from toll gate
Nadiad/Dakor exit, 15 kms from Anand exit
Reliance petrol pump, 22 kms from Nadiad exit
Sarkhej/Himmatnagar exit, 20 kms from Reliance petrol pump

To go towards Udaipur, you have to take the Himmatnagar exit, which is the penultimate exit. Turn off here, take the overpass and get onto the Sardar Patel Ring Road.

18 kms on the Sardar Patel Ring Road via the Ramol & Ranasan toll gates and reach NH8, where you turn right towards Himmatnagar/Udaipur.

When you are coming from the Udaipur side, 50 kms after crossing Himmatnagar, you reach the Chiloda Circle. From here onwards, it is 2-laned highway for the next 15 kms where you reach the Ranasan Circle. Turn left at the Ranasan Circle to get onto the Sardar Patel Ring Road. You will see clear signages pointing to Baroda.

Apologies to sidetrack. But assuming you are based in Hyderabad, you may choose to go via Nanded/Indore. Total distance would be around 1200 kms max. Whereas it would be much more via Ahemadabad (1500?). Pls ignore if you have other constraints. Also, if required, we can discuss on PMs or using some other thread.
