Please assist to validate this Rajasthan Plan in Xylo

Hi all,
I have been doing some research for my upcoming Rajasthan trip and firstly would like to give due credits to :

1) Ramkya1: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...trip-logs.html

2) lightinin95: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...ur-baroda.html

3) nix1976in: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...rajasthan.html

4) and of course HVKumar - have been carefully reading his highly valuable inputs.

Trust me, personally I have spend good time in preparing the attached Planner Sheet.
I would be thankful to all who assist in validating this plan; suggest if any major deviation is required.
Note that the sheet also contains link to Google Maps for each plan (incl the Optional one which covers Munabao: Indo-Pak border railway station)

thanks in advance,

Pranav

All the best for your trip. A good time to visit Rajasthan. the only suggestion I have got for you is that, anyways you are spending time at Udaipur, why dont you include Kumbhalgarh also in your iternary. Its a beautiful fort specially during night time and there are some resorts also where you could contemplate staying for a night.

my two cents

Pranav,

Suggest go through these travelogues of mine. It may be of some help.

RTDC Moomal at Jaisalmer, Ghoomer at Jodhpur (contact Kishoreji with my reference) & Kajri at Udaipur are good places to stay in.

Instead of SAM go to Khuri dunes. Better & clean place, serene too. SAM has become very commercialised and dirty.

I had been to Udaipur in 2006 enroute to Bombay, but never wrote a travelogue..

thanks a lot Mansi and Gurudutt for your inputs.

@Mansi: I've included Kumbhalgarh night stay.

@Gurudutt: as for what I searched, Khuri surely looked better; but as of now I booked for Sam Dhuni RTDC as it was a simply an online booking/payment !

attached is my updated planner-2, hopefully I should be doing all that mentioned.

Post my trip, I would update about my experiences.
