Spotted a speed interceptor at Yediyur at 4 PM. It was stationed just before the flyover which goes over Yediyur. My speed was around 95 kmph but they didn't flag me down. What speeds do they catch? They had caught a Swift and 5-6 two wheelers. I have spotted this interceptor for the first time. Is it permanently stationed there?

I guess the speed limit on national highway is 80 kmph. Assuming that your speedo was around 95 kmph, couple with the odometer error it might have been with the limits and hence they did not flag you.
Or, their targets were met and no interest shown in your case :uncontrol

A few months back during a day time drive to Mangalore I had seen these interceptors on a fast curve about 10 kms before Sakleshpur. Off late , all our drives have been late nights, that's why never seen them

Thankfully I missed them both ways, or I would have surely been flagged down!
I have seen them couple times near yediyur, but in both instances they were moving along, weren't catching anybody.
Yes - I saw one too. White car with POLICE written in Red.
Was not too sure what they were up to though.
Was parked at some random curve - do not recall where.
Yesterday I drove back to Manipal on Shiradi. Nothing to report, but things will change soon as the Monsoon has started. It rained pretty heavily in the coast last evening.
I have started training for the monsoon drives, last week I had some practice run around E-City. See the video
here.
Regarding the interceptor, I had once encountered one after Kunigal. Around 10 kms before the last toll gate. Guess its now a practice to flag vehicles above 90kmph there.
They are quite regular on Sundays now!!
Drove to mangalore yesterday. These days we do night starts only. Started 10 pm and reached Konaje by 330 am. The only real traffic we faced were the buses on the ghat.
About the ghat , the roads have started deteriorating slightly just before and after Sakleshpur. It's just the first week of the monsoons and we see this !
Also the entry to 2 small bridges on Shiradi have huge craters right in the middle. Driving at night , in rains can be tricky. Overall , the ghat looks okay as of now.
Saw 2 accidents right in front of me. An i20 driver damaged his bumper and tire when he ran over a huge stone left on the road ( maybe some trucker would have left it there ). Checked he was okay and moved on.
Just after the ghat , this Wagon R being driven at high speeds skids off the road to just miss me and this oncoming truck.
Will be driving back tomorrow early morning , can't risk the evening traffic entering bangalore

New unmarked speedbreakers have come up at Udyapura, just before the Bellur cross toll booth and at this intersection Marooru Handpost.
Started at 930 am reached bangalore at 215 pm. Drove without any stops.
With rains on and the ghat in good condition, saw a couple of accidents. One of them was an Indica that plunged down into the trees from quite a height. A large crowd had gathered and heard it could be bad.

Yes. Passed this scene just after it happened. It's a fast RHS downward curve. This car broke through the side wall and went down deep down the mountain.

Hello..
Drove down to Mangalore today. No rains for me though.
Started at 6 30 AM from HSR and drive till Hassan was uneventful. New rumbler strips At Udayagiri n almost all junctions on the L&T part of the road. I did question the toll guy there and his only defense was that they were laid to avoid accidents!! :Frustrati
Took Charmadi and boy the roads are a treat here. Absolutely fab!! clap:
Overall managed a drive in 7 hours excluding breaks. Shall post a short video on the same soon..
