Thank's Giving Long Weekend - Suggest Bike Ride Destination

Hey Guys,

Most of you might be knowing that last week of November US celebrates Thank's Giving because of which most of the company's will have long weekend (At least my company has)

Its been a long though in mind to go on long drive on Bike but somehow not been able to convince my friends for same...

Tried google and many other groups to looks for Bike Groups who go on long trips (3-4 days trips) but no luck in that as well...

So here's the though from my confused mind

Base Location: Mumbai
Days in hand - November 25th to 28th
Budget - Open
Ride - Yamaha R15 (I am rigid on this no car, have done may car trips)
Daily capacity to drive - may be 500 kms

Guys need ideas please help me out...

If anyone interested in joining me your most welcome (No Pillion though I wanna ride alone)

I remember doing the Pune - Malshej ghat in monsoons 3 years back and the ride was wonderful. Although it was a 1 day trip, I enjoyed it very much and was completely exhausted after the trip.

For your trip, I can only think of the usuals like
Ghats like Malshej Ghat, Tamhini ghat, Varandha Ghat, kaas lake, thoseghar, bhimashankar etc
or Beaches like Kashid, Harihareshwar, Ganapatipule, Murud and Janjira etc

However, if you wish to travel farther, I can suggest Dandeli (600 odd kms).
I have not traveled to the north of Mumbai, so i cannot suggest those

Actually I have been to most of the places you suggested and yes I do want to travel long distance this time I have "Khajuraho" in mind but it's little exhausting as Mumbai to Khajuraho is 1300 kms one way...

If I cover 600 kms a day also all 4 days will be gone in traveling only and I wont get much time to spend there (Although I don't care much about it but still at-least 1 day to discover the place)

If you are looking for 1000 kms range, i can suggest you Dandeli.
If you have done dandeli, you can visit Shimoga, Jog falls, Chikmagalur or Bhadra wildlife sanctuary. All of these places are in the range of 800 - 900 kms from Mumbai and each one is 100kms away from the other.

Khajuraho is a great idea.
You can do it in the 4 days at your disposal with some very aggressive driving, but that will still leave you short of at least a few hours (3-4 hours) to see the temples of Khajuraho, assuming that you want to just have a dekko (my style too!!).

This is how you can do it:
D1/2: Thane-Nashik-Dhulia-Sendhwa-Indore-Dewas-Biaora-Vijaipur-Guna-Shivpuri-Jhansi-Mornipur-Chhatarpur-Bamita-Khajuraho
Alternatively, from Indore-Dewas-Bhopal-Raisen-Sagar-Lalitpur-Jhansi-Mornipur-Chhatarpur-Bamita-Khajuraho

Return could be
Khajuraho-Panna-Amanganj-Sahnagar-Katni-Jabalpur-Laknadon-Seoni-Nagpur-Amaravati-Akola-Khamgaon-Malkapur-Jalgaon-Dhulia-Nashik-Thane

How would you do onward?
D1: Stop over at Vijaipur at least
D2: Late evening Khajuraho
Problem is some bad roads between Biaora and Shivpuri, and risk of tarffic jams after Dewas. Risks are that you may have a time overrun and not reach Khajuraho on D2 night.

How would do return?
Spectacular different route through jungles of Panna.
But NH7 between Katni and Jabalpur is in bad condition, will be a big time-waster.
