Planning for a trip tomorrow, as early as 6 am from Bangalore.
Planning to cover the falls (take bath), prasanna meenakshi temple, Somanathpura and possibly Talakkad on an Alto.

Planning to take Kanakpura road.
Will give travelogue in a day.
Any advices / pointers ?

Carry your own food/snacks. You will hardly any good hotels on 209 (Kanakpura road).

Blr-Kanakapura-Malavalli-Falls/Talkad: Roads are fine (relatively). Guess, Talkad-Somanathapura is decent too, via T-Narasipur. I was told Somanathapura-Bannur-Malavalli road was broken, when I visited T-Narasipura last Sunday and was advised by the locals to take T-Narasipur-Sosale-Poorigaali-Malavalli-Kanakapura route, which I found good, except for some bad stretches (10kms). You too could try Somanathapura-Sosale-Poorigaali-Malavalli-Kanakapura route (should take about 3hrs upto Metro on Kanakapura Road).
